Introduction:        Hello everyone my name is Sarthak Mahajan and today I am here to explain, What’s FWD(Front Wheel Drive), AWD(All Wheel Drive), RWD(Rear Wheel Drive).

Description: Okay, so let’s start with the description of every drivetrain.

1] FWD[Front Wheel Drive] As the name implies FWD all the power from engine is supplied to front wheels. These type of drivetrain is used in great for fuel economy and also easy to manoeuvre in cities.

2] AWD[All Wheel Drive] In this type of drivetrain all the power of engine is supplied to all four wheels equally and these type of drivetrain is mostly used in full size SUVs and some sports cars. These type of drivetrain is useful for off-roading and racing.

3] RWD[Rear Wheel Drive] In this type of drivetrain the power engine is supplied to the rear wheels of a car and these type of drivetrain is mostly used in super cars and sports car.

Some more info:           I didn’t mention 4wd and 4×4 because they are based on AWD and also they are not basic.
