Introduction:
Hi guys, my name is Sarthak Mahajan and today I am here to compare Tata safari vs Hyundai Alcazar.
Description:
In this blog, I’m going to compare base variants of both the vehicles i.e. XE variant of Tata Safari and Prestige 7 STR 2.0 petrol variant of Hyundai Alcazar.
Hyundai Alcazar:
When talking about the looks the Alcazar is more premium looking, it has that luxurious feel, LED headlights and LED fog lamps. The Grille of Hyundai Alcazar is finished in chrome to give it a premium look. Alloys are sharp it has that cuts and silver finish. The taillights appear as if they are inspired by Tata Hexa or Ford Endeavour. Tyre size of the alcazar is 17, which is bigger than Safari.
The Interior of Alcazar is more of a featurism it has a big 10.5-inch touch-sensitive infotainment system that supports wired android auto and apple car play. It has black and brown seats that gives premium charm, but for some people, it might be confined as it is in black and brown color combination. Middle row is spacious too so far so good right? Well things get to change here when moving onto third row of seats, in alcazar the priority is boot space so the third row is highly recommended for kids or rather just use it as a five-seater car with large boot space.
Tata Safari:
So Tata Safari is very bulky-looking SUV meaning it has that heavy bulky visual look unlike Hyundai Alcazar. Tata Safari enthuses more towards off-roading. Unfortunately the base variant of Safari doesn’t get alloy wheels rather they are steel rims. And overall look is same as Tata Harrier. Tyre size of Safari is 16 but tyre profile is bigger than Alcazar.
The interior of Safari somehow feels more spacious the seats are in black color though it is in black color it provides more clean and clear look unlike Alcazar’s claustrophobic interior. Unluckily Safari misses out some features compared to Alcazar like, apple car play and android auto. It also doesn’t have infotainment system. The instrument cluster is analogue whereas Alcazar gets digital and customizable instrument cluster. Middle row of Safari has more space than Alcazar. The third row sitting space is priority of Safari. But the drawback here is you don’t get space to keep luggage of the people you are with. You will have to rather put an aftermarket carrier on roof to fulfil your luggage space requirement.
Conclusion: If you are looking for a perfect family car with some features, some premium appeal and a smooth ride then I’ll suggest alcazar. But if you are looking for an SUV that can cross most for the off-roading terrans then I’ll suggest you to go with Safari. You might miss out some feature choosing Safari. But then who cares if you are doing an Off-roading.
